I enjoy long walks on the beach and pepperoni pizza....oh yeah

I was born and raised in Tracy, California where I learned to drive a tractor at a young age.  From there, I played basketball at Tracy High and eventually made my way over to Delta College.  While at Delta College, I was fortunate to have played basketball for one of the finest leaders any young person could ask for, Coach Brian Katz.  Due to all of my hard work I was able to earn a full-ride scholarship to Idaho State University where I started every game during my two years playing for the Bengals.  Once my time was complete at Idaho State I married my lovely wife.  Before becoming a teacher, I played Professional basketball in Pavia, Italy and St. Polten, Austria.  Due to injuries, my wife and I moved back to Northern California and became teachers.  I taught Mathematics and Life Skills in the one.Program for 8 years before becoming an Administrator for the SJCOE.  During those 8 years of teaching, my wife and I created 4 great kids that take up all of my time, other than work.  I am now an Administrator at San Joaquin Building Futures Academy where I get to wake up everyday feeling fortunate to work with an outstanding staff and hard working students.
